Steel headstock spindle
Precision-machined steel cutter head mounted on 2 sealed, permanently lubricated ballbearings. Solid, corrugated, cutter head driven in-feed roller & smooth out-feed roller. Helical springs and setscrews in the upper section assure that the correct tension is applied to the rollers. Adjustable pressure bar produces the necessary tension behind the cutter head for accurate work. Cast-iron chip breaker controls the feed by adjusting pressure as needed.

Graduated scale indicates depth of cut ranging from 1/16" to 6" (1.6 to 154.4 mm).
Magnetic switch with overload protection for added safety.
Powerful North American designed, totally enclosed, fan cooled industrial motor with a dynamically balanced cast-iron pulley and matching dual V-belt drive.
